End of Life Care Training & Effective Communication Training

There's never a more important time to ensure the care you provide is effective and sufficient. Knowing how to do this and how to communicate with someone who is dying is critical.

What is End of Life Care and Effective Communication?

End of life care isn't just for the last few days of someone's life. Someone can experience palliative care for months or sometimes years. It's important to know the difference and know how to prepare yourself, the service user and their family. End of life care is a heart felt topic and one that is a must for anyone working in the healthcare industry.

If your staff are supporting someone who is at the end stages of their life, understanding how to effectively communicate with them can make a huge difference. The difference between someone in pain and them receiving the medication they need. This is why we have joined the two topics together into one course.

What Are The Benefits of This Course?

There are plenty of benefits to undertaking this course, from your staff understanding how to support someone through their final days, to managing their medication, care input as well as documentation and care planning. If your staff are able to know and carryout the appropriate actions, there will be a loving and lasting experience for both the person's family and your staff.

Through effective communication, your staff will also be able to increase their ability to communicate with anyone, but especially those who are at the end of their life. Through completing this training, your staff can easy the pain and create a better experience for all those involved.

Training with the Leicestershire Training Team

Training is one of the most important aspects of anyone's working life, however it is commonly a source of boredom, resulting in a poor retainment of information. This is why we started thinking about training differently. For us, the training needs to be engaging as well as informative, so what you learn today, will be remembered tomorrow.

Training with us is a unique experience, with a potent mixture of fun, interactivity, real life experience and expert advice. We only use trained professionals, such as our nurse trainers, to deliver our training. This way you are taught by someone with real hands on experience.
