What is Epilepsy Training?
The World Health Organisation estimate that 50 million people globally are diagnosed with epilepsy. This makes it one of the most common neurological conditions on the planet. Despite being such a common condition, its by no means harmless, resulting in three times more premature deaths than the average person. This may be due to a lack of awareness in how to support someone during and after they experience a seizure.
The World Health Organisation believe that around 70% of people with epilepsy could live without a seizure if their epilepsy was diagnosed & treated properly.
Interesting, epilepsy is one on the world's oldest recorded conditions, dating back to 4000BC. For us, epilepsy training is bringing an awareness about the condition in order to properly support people manage their lives and reduce the chance of harm during & after a seizure.
What Are The Benefits of This Epilepsy Training Course?
Having epilepsy is not uncommon, around 600,000 people in the UK experience the condition. Although not all seizures are due to epilepsy, around 1 in 20 of us will experience a seizure at some point in our lives, even if we don't have epilepsy. Knowing what to do when it happens can save someone's life.

This is why we started thinking about training differently. For us, the training needs to be engaging as well as informative, so what you learn today, will be remembered tomorrow.
Training with us is a unique experience, with a potent mixture of fun, interactivity, real life experience and expert advice. We only use trained professionals, such as our nurse trainers, to deliver our training. This way you are taught by someone with real hands on experience.
