What is Basic Life Support Training?
Our Basic Life Support training covers the most important things, CPR, using a Debif, the Recovery Position and how to stop someone from choking. Carrying our CPR can be a daunting task, but after this training, your staff will not only feel confident, but feel competent too.
Our fun and interactive style of training blends theory with practicial elements. By using our training style your staff can gain confidence within the safety of the training session.
Our Basic Life Support training course is perfect for people who work alongside others or support babies, child or adults. As with all out training, we tailor it to suit the needs of the people we are training. This means our session can be tailored for specific staffing situations, whether they are experienced or new to CPR or using a Defib.
Our training is a comprehensive course including how to check someone is breathing, how to protect yourself from danger and how to use a Defib.
There are plenty of benefits to undertaking this course, from your staff understanding the reasons behind why a cough assist machine is needed through to how to use it effectively and safely. Other benefits include understanding what to do if something goes wrong, and when not to use the machine.
Whether your team work in a hospice, care home or someone's own home, appropriate care intervention can prevent hospitalisation, trauma and deterioration for the service user; helping you provide a safer, effective and more responsive service.
