What is PEG Care & PEG Feeding Training?
This is a hands-on, half-day course (around 2.5 hours) that teaches your staff how to care for someone with a PEG or RIG tube , and how to deliver feed, fluids and medication safely. A PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy) or RIG (radiologically inserted gastrostomy) tube supports people who cannot take enough food, drink or medication by mouth. Getting that care right keeps the person comfortable, well nourished and out of hospital.
We keep it practical and engaging. Using our manikins and feeding equipment, your team practises real techniques in a safe setting, so they leave able to do the task, not just talk about it. Every session is tailored to your service and to the mix of experience in the room, whether your staff are brand new to PEG care or refreshing skills they have used for years.

Learn from an experienced nurse
Every PEG session is delivered by an experienced registered nurse with a teaching qualification and real, hands-on clinical experience. That means your team learns from someone who has actually cared for people with PEG and RIG tubes, can answer the tricky questions from the floor, and knows how to make a clinical subject genuinely enjoyable to learn.
It is one of the reasons our training is rated so highly: expert knowledge, delivered in a warm, down-to-earth way that staff of every level can follow.
