Our PEG Care & PEG Feeding training covers how to deliver feed, whether Bolus or via a Nutricia Pump. The session also includes how to adminster medication and flushes via a PEG tube or RIG tube.  
 
 
Our fun and interactive style of suction training blends theory with practicial elements. By using our manikins and equipment your staff can gain some hands-on experience within the safety of the training session. 
 
 
 
Our PEG Care & PEG Feeding training course is perfect for nurses & carers. As with all our training, we tailor it to suit the needs of the people we are training. This means our session can be tailored for nursing and care staff, whether experienced or new to PEG Care & PEG Feeding. 
 
Our training provides a comprehensive course including what suctioning is, who might require it, how to use a suction machine and what to do if something goes wrong.

NEBULISER & INHALER TRAINING 

It's very common to come across a nebuliser working in the healthcare setting. Knowing what to do, how to use and clean the machine is essential. Nebulisers are medication administering machines and people should be trained on how to use them effectively.  

SYRINGE DRIVER TRAINING 

Our half a day syringe driver course updates you on the McKinley T34 pump or BD Bodyguard T pump, the only syringe driver used in Leicestershire. Our course covers what a syringe driver is, when to use one, how to prepare the medication, setting up the pump, undergoing safety checks, changing the syringe when in use, inserting the Saf T or butterfly needle and much more. 

VNS AWARENESS TRAINING 

Sometimes people experiencing a seizure will require staff to use their VNS to ensure they remain safe. Using a VNS device should only be undertaken by a trained person. With our VNS Awareness training, your staff will learn how to do this safely. 

CATHETERISATION TRAINING 

Whether you're recently trained or a seasoned pro, refreshing your knowledge and practical skills is essential. With a registered nurse conducting this half-day session, you get to refresh your knowledge on why and how to catheterise a male, female and supra-pubic patients. We also cover what equipment you need as well as how to prevent common errors and much much more! This is a practical session where you get to practice your technique so you can walk away confident. 

MANUAL EVACUATION & SUPPOSITORY TRAINING  

This half a day course covers how to adminster an enema or suppository and includes how to manually evacuate someone's bowels if required. This course is for both professional nurses and for healthcare assistants.
