What is Fire Training?
Through our training partners, we offer a multitude of different fire related courses, from Evacuation to Fire Marshal training. It can be a daunting task tackling a fire, but after this training, your staff will not only feel confident, but feel competent too.
Our fun and interactive style of training blends theory with practicial elements. By using our equipment, your staff can gain some hands-on experience within the safety of the training session.

VENTILATION TRAINING
Whether a person requires ventilator through a mask or via a tracheostomy, it's essential your staff are trained to take care of this person. Ventilation, whether just overnight or 24hrs a day, can require setting changes, and will require monitoring, circuit changes and more. This training will teach your staff to how to do all of this safely.
COUGH ASSIST MACHINE TRAINING
Our cough assist machine training covers all aspects you might need to know about using a cough assist machine. From changing the setting from day to night, through to maintaining the mask and tubing. Upgrade you staff's skillset with this half day cough assist training course.
SYRINGE DRIVER TRAINING
Our half a day syringe driver course updates you on the McKinley T34 pump or BD Bodyguard T pump, the only syringe driver used in Leicestershire. Our course covers what a syringe driver is, when to use one, how to prepare the medication, setting up the pump, undergoing safety checks, changing the syringe when in use, inserting the Saf T or butterfly needle and much more.
WOUND MANAGEMENT TRAINING
Our full-day course on wound management is a must for nursing homes and nursing agencies. It covers the different types of wounds, how to assess and document the wound, what dressings can be applied and the potential side effects. The course also includes how to manage the wound through the healing process and how to undertake wound reporting.
